What happens when you end up with lots of customers? Will it slow everything down?

What this describes is “over subscription” or to put it another way, manufactured scarcity! This runs contrary to our beliefs. We think the internet should be abundant.

Will you raise your prices?

In the event that we make adjustments to our pricing / offerings. We will always honor the rates that we gave you from day one. However if we lower our rates, the change will be reflected on your account without having to nag us about it.

Are there any hidden fees?

Never. We will only bill you for internet service. Taxes and fees are included in the rates we advertise.

How long does an install take?

Anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the needs of your home and location.

What if I have a phone I want to keep from another provider?

The cable company and phone company can just sell you a phone without internet or other services. But usually it’s cheaper to just add another cell phone or use a voice over IP service like Ringcentral or Google Voice.

Do you bundle TV or Phone?

No, at Abundance we strive to provide the absolute best internet experience possible. It is what we are good at. Choose any vendor you desire and we’ll make sure it functions well on our network!

Do I get a static IP?

Yes! You will have the same IP address for the life of your service.

I’m a customer, how do I change my WiFi Password?

Will you protect user privacy?

Always! User privacy is among our primary concerns. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for greater detail.

Is your network neutral?

Yes! Net Neutrality is very important to us. Despite what the law allows we will never throttle any service you use.

Other than some very minor traffic shaping to ensure voice over IP services work smoothly we deliver all packets in the order we receive them without discrimination.

Are you just reselling the larger companies services with your name on them?

No! Believe it or not, we have a network that is independent of our competitors networks. 

What about my HOA?

Most HOA’s will have rules regarding satellite dish installation. It is up to the end user to verify the rules and get written permission if required.

What do I need?

We provide all of the equipment you need to get online with our service!

How do you handle billing?

We have a web based user portal that allows for one-time or automated monthly billing.

Do you charge for equipment?

No! We own the equipment and expect it to be returned if you ever cancel, but we do not charge rental fees.

Do you charge for setup?

For a standard basic install, we don’t charge you anything for setup or installation. Just for your monthly service once it is online. There are fees associated with a more labor intensive install:

  • Assisted Install $40

    1. Includes setting up of additional devices in the home to include mesh networks, Smart TV’s, cell phones, IPads, and other wireless devices.

    2. Running the exterior cable in a longer than necessary path for aesthetic value. 

    3. Running the cable under the home or through an attic crawl space.

  • Premium Install $100 per hour

    1. Any additional wiring to other points of the home.

    2. Fishing ethernet cable through interior walls(may have to be done at another appointment)

    3. Adding conduit and surface mounted boxes to the interior or exterior of the home for running cable.

What does ISP mean?

ISP means Internet Service Provider.

Are you affiliated with AT&T or Spectrum?

No, that would defeat the purpose :) We brought Abundance Internet into the world to provide you with a fresh alternative to the incumbent providers. They’ve had their chance. It is our turn now to show you what an internet service provider can be!

How do I pay my bill?

We do all of our billing online to make it convenient for you and sustainable for the planet! You can access your bill through your “Client Portal”. When your service is initiated, you will receive an email with the link to the Portal, and your login (most of the time, it will be your email address). From there, click the link and set up your password. We suggest bookmarking this link for ease in paying your bill monthly. 

When do I receive my first bill?

You will receive your first bill within a few days of your service start date. You have until the end of the month to pay it. 

How is the first bill calculated?

Your first bill is prorated from the day your service begins to the last day of that month. The first day of the next month begins the next billing cycle, where you will pay your flat fee monthly.
