Installation Technician

We are looking for a hard-working Installation technician to perform end user installations, services, and repairs on a variety of residential and commercial properties. 

In this role, you will be required to install and mount antennas and cabling, troubleshoot connectivity problems, and compile diagnostic and repair reports.

To be successful as an Installation technician, you should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and precision in your work. Ultimately, a top-notch Installation technician should be able to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and provide excellent customer support.

Responsibilities:

• Traveling to customers' homes or businesses to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs.

• Performing site surveys to determine the optimal placement for internet antenna installation.

• Installing the necessary cables, mounting the Installation hardware, and ensuring that the antenna is positioned correctly.

• Calibrating the equipment to ensure that the connection is secure and the service is functioning correctly.

• Diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective repairs.

• Generating diagnostic and repair reports.

• Ensuring that tools and equipment are safely operated and maintained.

• Keeping up to date with the latest technology and practices in the industry.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

• At least one year's experience in a technical field using phones and computers. 

• Experience and/or knowledge in Radio Frequency equipment or computer networking

• Bilingual Spanish speaker strongly preferred

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Physically fit and able to work at heights.

• Willingness to work after hours and on weekends and holidays.
