Troubleshooting Customer Slow Speeds

  • Ask what the symptoms are

  • How if your network set up in your home, are in the same room as your router

  • Ask if they’re on the Abundance network for Abundance-2g

  • Ask them to run a speed test on speedtest.net (If possible, have them hardwire to the router)

  • Look into antenna and run speed test thru UNMS

  • If antenna speeds report slower than they should be, escalate to technician

  • If antenna speeds are good, it could be a router issue

  • Ask the customer if it’s a good time to restart their router

  • Once router is restarted, have them run a speed test again

  • If speeds are still slow, have them try the other network

  • If that doesn’t work, escalate to technician
